Migrosbank aimed to broaden its reach by making its innovative online onboarding process accessible to trusted partners. This initiative would empower partners to seamlessly onboard clients, helping Migrosbank expand its network and bring its unique banking experience to a wider audience.

Summary

We designed a fully automated, flowable process aimed at delivering a flawless user experience, seamlessly adapting to the unique workflows and systems of external partners. This tailored approach ensures partners can integrate effortlessly, allowing them to maintain their own processes while providing clients with a smooth, intuitive onboarding journey. The result is a unified, automated system that meets the highest standards of user experience and operational efficiency across all platforms.

Challenge

To integrate a seamless external onboarding process for partners, Migrosbank had to adapt its BPMN and CMMN-based onboarding workflows to align with both partner needs and stringent Swiss banking regulations. This required careful customization and rigorous compliance checks, ensuring the process remained secure and compliant. Coordinating across multiple IT teams from various stakeholders proved to be a complex task, ultimately extending the coordination phase far beyond the actual implementation timeline. However, this collaborative effort established a robust, compliant, and integrated solution, setting the foundation for smooth and regulated partner onboarding.
